The aim of this plan is to establish a coherent and sustainable policy over time, with the aim of improving the living conditions of the communities surrounding the port, reducing social inequalities and making residents proud of their port. AIVP<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outstanding features:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>cross-cutting project<\/strong> covering health, leisure, and safety issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project aims to steer the port authority towards sustainable development that benefits both the port and the community. It proposes actions to promote social, economic, and ecological development. This is the<strong> city&#8217;s first plan with a long-term perspective<\/strong>, making the city-region-port relationship a central focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The plan has placed residents at the heart of the consultation process. Two series of meetings were organized: \u2018El Puerto escucha\u2019 (The port listens) and \u2018El Puerto dialoga\u2019 (The port dialogues). These meetings <strong>helped to strengthen the listening process and to integrate the community&#8217;s contributions <\/strong>with a view to continuous improvement. It is an autonomous non-state public entity located in the south of the Buenos Aires province, in Argentina, with access to the Atlantic Ocean. It is primarily an export port characterized by a wide variety of cargoes: solid bulk, liquid bulk, containers, general cargo, and project material.
