The Port de Javel Bas is an urban river port located in the densely populated area of Paris, in a residential district. The redevelopment project aimed to enable shared use of the quays along the Seine.

The Duwamish River People's Park and Shoreline Habitat (DRPP) is the largest restoration project on Seattle's only river.

Located in the heart of the Port of Los Angeles and completed in February 2024, the Wilmington Waterfront Promenade project is part of an overall long-term strategy to improve quality of life, promote sustainable growth, and develop new economic opportunities for the community.

Bekkelagsbadet buffer zone is a large new public park area in the transition between the harbor and the neighborhood. The container terminal was previously located in this area.

The rehabilitation of the historic port of Jaffa is a pioneering project that has revitalized a 4,000-year-old heritage site into a modern center for culture, community, research, and tourism.

Initiated by the Gabonese government in 2013, the Baie des Rois is an urban planning project stemming from Gabon National Infrastructure Master Plan. It is the starting point for more than 400 hectares of urban redevelopment in downtown Libreville.

The project carried by the Nautical Sea Development Centre Port-Saint-Louis-Provence aims to create a unique multihull spot in the Mediterranean serving as a focal point for maritime enthusiasts and tourists.
